Our goal is to address the scholarly aspirations of Africana studies librarians, archivists, and curators under the umbrella of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH) organization. As managers and developers of African American Studies academic collections within private, public and/or land grant institutions, we have formed an affiliation with the Association to advance collaboration, scholarship and build intellectual camaraderie between African American Studies Librarians and African American Studies Scholars.
