Developing and Administering Collections of African American Resources-August 7-11, 2017-UCLA

This week-long intensive course, that takes place at UCLA’s Rare Book School, will consist of class instruction, group seminars, hands-on workshops, and tours of African American collections at repositories such as the California African American Museum, UCLA and the Huntington Library.

This course will be beneficial for any persons who work in African American archives, museums, historical societies, cultural organizations, historic sites, or others who have interests in the objectives advancing black history.

Application process: Due to the limited class size, participation is by application only. Financial assistance for the course is available as full scholarships June 9, 2017 is the Cal-RBS scholarship deadline for August courses.
